due in respect of services to be taken over from the

Government under the principal agreement and in a similar

manner the Government shall collect and receive all monies

due in respect of services not taken over.

Article 8.

The Company shall from the date mentioned in Article 1

hereof bring into use message forms and envelopes distinctive

from those used by the Government

Article 9

The Company shall relieve the Government from all

financial responsibility, traffic correspondence, accounting

and statistics relative to the traffic undertaken by the

Company under the principal agreement subsequent to the date

mentioned in Article 1 hereof.

Article 10.

The Company shall repay to the Government all salaries

and other expenses incurred in respect of members of the

Government service lent to the Company for the period of this

transition agreement only. During the said period the Company

shall pay to the Government an additional sum equivalent to 12

per cent. of the full salary of each such member as a contribu-

tion towards his pension. A list of titles of such members and

their scale of pay is contained in schedule A.

Article 11.

In the case of the members of the Government service, whose

grade, scale of pay and rate of pay (in December 1930) 18

contained in Schedule B. the Company agrees to transfer into

its own service such of them as are willing to be transferred.

Until such transfer each member of the Government service

included in Schedule B shall be deemed to be lent to the

Company and his salary and expenses shall be repaid and the
